Detectives from the Violent Crimes Investigations (VCI) Team have continued to develop investigative leads, examined evidence, and conducted additional interviews into the unprovoked attack and stabbing. Based on the on-going investigation, detectives have learned the following and needs the community’s assistance with identifying the suspect.
The suspect is a Hispanic male adult between the approximate ages of 30-40. He was approximately 5’6” tall and weighed between 160-180 lbs. He had black short-cut hair and possibly a mustache. He wore a dark puffy jacket with a hood having white on the inside of the hood. He also wore long black shoes with a shiny or different colored tip. Witnesses describe him having a large tattoo on one of his forearms of the grim reaper, commonly referred to as La Santa Muerte.
Witnesses tell police the suspect may reside in the area and may work in landscaping.
A reward up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance “Take Back Our Community Program.” The reward is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects involved in the stabbing.
